White Coat Ceremony, Class of 2027

The White Coat Ceremony for the DPT, Class of 2027 students was held on 6th April 2023. Sat in the auditorium, there was an influx of students all ready to receive their white coats, the very symbol and image of medical integrity. There was a palpable buzz in the air, and as they chattered excitedly amongst themselves, the ceremony commenced. Starting with the Tilawat-e-Quran by Mufti Ahmad, and the national anthem, hosts Kiran Konain and Aala Bint-e-Farrukh smoothly carried the whole event. Insightful words of encouragement were spoken by the Dean Brig. Rt. Prof. Dr. Khalid Hasan Mehmood. The Secretary Board of Governors Dr. Bilal Faiz Khan was also invited to the stage to share his wise words with the audience, along with Dr. Erum Tanveer the Principal of United College of Physical Therapy who took to the stage to move the hearts of the students and build their respect for the white coat. Soon enough, the students were called to the stage one by one, with their pictures illuminating the background behind them and were handed their white coats by various members of the administration and faculty. With their new coats secured firmly on their backs, they were lead outside for a group picture.
